Roadmap

1. What does Minterest’s Roadmap look like?

Please refer to Minterest’s latest blog posts for updates to the roadmap.

2. (Ethereum) Will users have continuous access to Minterest leading up to Public Launch?

There is no planned downtime on the Minterest Protocol. Users holding Minterest NFTs can continue to supply and borrow on Ethereum.

3. (Ethereum) What caused the recent changes in emissions rates and why are some markets generating greater APYs than others?

As part of the ongoing restructuring and product development roadmap planning, we have reduced Minterest emissions on the Ethereum Network. It is important to note that existing smart contracts will continue to be utilised, allowing liquidity providers to maintain their current positions without disruption.

Regarding net APY calculations, tokens allocated for emissions are distributed evenly across all markets, so the resulting APYs are determined by each market's liquidity volume. Therefore, a market with higher liquidity will have lower APYs, since the same number of tokens is dispersed over a larger liquidity pool.

4. (Ethereum) Will rewards already accrued, such as Supply/Borrow Emissions and Staking, be honoured?

Yes, all rewards earned are honoured moving into Private Access. No action is required.

5. (Ethereum) How do staking rewards work for CAE/LBP participants until Public Launch?

All CAE/LBP participants who chose not to Lock & Load have had their governance tokens staked since February 2023 and will continue to earn rewards moving into Private Access and beyond.

All users who participated in Lock & Load are receiving double allocations, currently under a cliff. This allocation will not begin earning staking rewards until the 12-month smooth unlock period begins in February 2024. At this point, any claimable amount will be auto-staked and will begin earning staking rewards.

6. (Ethereum) Where can I verify ON CHAIN that the protocol is working? Where can I see contracts or wallets doing stuff?

On-chain Verification: To confirm the protocol's activities on-chain, you can inspect smart contract interactions on the Ethereum blockchain using blockchain explorers like Etherscan.

The primary activities to look for at the moment would be related to assets markets.

Active Contracts: Currently, only the following contracts are actively being used:

mWETH: 0xf428189D73a7A17B8Eb8F5637654063edd728df8

mWBTC: 0x87A25DfDCB7B4a60735d93C1B79C3596c7b3DE6b

mUSDT: 0xF629B7E362a282AD4D0018E1CB2DBd9D3576E4ff

mUSDC: 0x45e90AfE8112CbE940adb1436d89Fb9450815eeA

mDAI: 0x41f4766B0368f43d1312f63350635eb155040832

NFT Contract Activity:

Transactions related to the NFT contract might be visible based on user activity, like trading NFTs.

Upcoming Activities:

Buyback staking rewards will be reactivated in Q1 2024. When MINTY is transferable during Public Launch, the Vesting and Rewards Hub contracts will also become operational allowing users to claim vestings and rewards to wallets, and the ability to stake/unstake tokens into the governance process.
